About the Satos
The Sato brothers were raised in the hills of West Virginia, where life revolved around long shifts, dispatch radios, trauma kits, and the unspoken rule that when someone calls for help, you answer. Danny, Marcus, Caleb, and Noah built their lives around emergency work — paramedic, firefighter, nurse, dispatcher. Different jobs. Same instinct: run toward the wreckage while everyone else runs away.
For most of their lives, things were normal. Stressful. Messy. Human. Then Danny survived a wreck he should not have survived. Now all four brothers hear the same voice hidden beneath the static of everyday life. It follows them through sleepless nights and quiet moments between calls. Every time they turn west, the whisper grows stronger.
“Come to me…”At night, they dream of a woman standing motionless in an endless fog, watching them like she’s waiting for them to remember her.Something beyond the mountains has noticed the Satos. And it is no longer asking.
